The main tool I use is a syringe dispenser. This is basically a syringe that is attached to an air compressor via a control unit. This equipment allows me to manually control the dispensing of paint from the syringe as and when needed.

Instead of scribbling or drawing with a pen or pencil, I use the fine stream of paint to create. Its a bit more random and less controlled than traditional sketching / scribbling / drawing, but I like the effect it produces.

With my method I need to make sure I’m leaning over the artwork as the paint flows. This can be back breaking after a while, but the results are worth it in the end. 

I try to maintain a continuous line of paint as I deal with the nuances of the equipment and tip blockages which can occur with viscous paint.

I like to think I am literally injecting life into scribble art with the use of syringes to create these free flowing fine lines. They start off very random but come together as the piece develops into its final form. This unique method of painting exhibits a special depth to each piece that changes throughout the day as the light hits the painting at different angles.
