This beautiful patchwork heart is designed to hang on the wall. It measures an impressive 19 inches x 19 inches and weighs around 5kg.
The piece has been entirely hand fabricated by Wigan artist Malcolm Hull and it’s patchwork effect uses a range of salvaged and re-purposed metals including a satellite dish, an old copper kettle and even a brass shell casing from a piece of 1916 artillery.
Each ‘patch’ is individually cut and riveted together and Malcolm’s skill cleverly brings the finished piece together.
TO HANG: Malcolm has incorporated a very simple but strong hanging mechanism complete with wall bracket for you to attach this to your chosen hanging point. See photo.
