About this bronze whale sculpture:
Orca's, also known as killer whales, are symbols of power, intelligence, and family. Known for their complex social structures and strong family bonds, they represent teamwork, loyalty, and the deep connections within communities.
Orca's are also seen as guardians of the sea and in this beautiful bronze whale I have tried to embody the spirit of freedom and the mysteries of the ocean depths.
ROXY's ARTIST STATEMENT:
“As a young professional artist, I am passionate about creating sculptures that capture the essence of animals in a unique and endearing way. My focus on animals allows me to express my love for nature and wildlife in my artwork, and I work in bronze because of its timeless beauty and durability.
My sculptures are meant to induce feelings of joy and warmth, and I strive to bring an individual personality to my pieces. I believe that art has the power to bring people together and to evoke emotions, and I aim to use my sculptures to bring a smile to people’s faces and to brighten up their day.
I have also donated pieces to charity in order to help raise funds and awareness, this is something I am passionate about continuing to do.”
