"Haru" Spring Collection by Kealey Farmer
Like other seasonal words, the kanji for spring, 春 Haru, is a combination of Japanese characters. The first is the character "Sun" or "Day" 日 and the second is a combination of the kanji for plants 艸 and the phonetic 屯 meaning 'To Sprout'. In other words, Under the Sun of Spring, The Plants Begin to Sprout and Grow.
On deckled edge paper with hand embellishments before being framed and returned to Kealey to apply 3D resined elements to the glass!
